This is a painting of a scene in Cades Cove, Tennessee. It's such a strikingly beautiful place in any weather but this was an exceptionally gorgeous day. The shining sun makes long shadows across the road which leads you into the scene while on both sides the warm golden fields surround you.
This painting was done with acrylic paint then finished with a satin varnish. The painting is 1 1/2 inches deep and has dark painted edges and a wire hanger so it can be hung as is, propped on a shelf or framed. It’s signed on the front and on the back it's signed, dated and titled.
