I began painting two years ago to help with my writing process. (I am a published author.) My work as a writer revolved around the dark and edgy world of psychological thrillers and horror stories, and I thought that energy would transfer into my paintings. What surprised me was the pleasure I felt when I painted. But what amazed me even more was how that energy translated onto the watercolor paper. People like my paintings because of the feelings of joy they evoke. Since this started, I have painted almost every day and, hopefully, have brought joy to many people.
