Fine Art Metal Print of Soapbox, a festive celebratory racing event for children from all over Cincinnati who race these brightly professionally produced soapbox racers that are built from donations from individuals and companies. This painting tells several stories, chief of which is a very excited little boy walking down the street toward the starting point with his mom and a staff person with his race car. A little girl is also looking over her race car for her race to come. The colorful race cars lined up reminded me with how I felt opening my first box of 64 crayons (with built-in crayon sharpener!) with all of those colors and the smell of fresh crayons - so happy and filled with anticipation.
